Jill’s passion for great design and architecture began long before she formerly pursued her Bachelor of Arts in Interior Design at the Southwest University of Visual Arts in Tucson, AZ. While Serving her country, Jill had the unique opportunity to live abroad and all over this great nation sampling various design styles and renovating countless homes along the way! Jill is a decorated Veteran, serving nearly 23 years as an Intelligence Professional in the United States Air Force.

Before launching J Sweet Designs in January 2020, Jill was fortunate to serve as a Design Branch Manager and Senior Interior Designer for a nation-wide commercial design firm and for the Tucson VA Medical Center.  As lead designer and design team contributor, Jill created innovative design solutions for various large- and small-scale design projects ranging from historical preservation to healthcare, education, corporate, retail, military, worship, and local and federal government design projects. Jill is well versed all aspects of the design process, from programming through construction administration, expertly providing her clients with superior comprehensive and structural interior design (CID/SID) services and products.

Jill’s passion for design extends beyond interiors. As a freelance furniture and product designer, over the years Jill has created numerous statement pieces for both residential and commercial applications.  Jill’s list of accomplishments include designing custom conference tables with the latest audio/visual components discretely incorporated, a convertible bed system for smaller urban interiors that has since been marketed to the public nationwide, and custom storage pieces for commercial and private spaces.

Jill is dedicated to maintaining the highest level of professional integrity and performance.  Her accreditations include being NCIDQ certified, a professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and the International Interior Design Association (IIDA).  Jill has been a featured guest speaker at the National Exposition of Contract Interior Furnishings (NeoCon), an international design tradeshow and expo.

 Over the years, Jill’s design creations have garnered several awards from the American Society of Interior Designers and her work has been published in Tucson Weekly Magazine.
